Prof. Aysun Turkmen
She is a full Professor in the Department of Chemistry, Faculty of Science & Arts, Giresun University. She has 26 years of professional experience in her area. She has managed a lot of projects. Aysun Turkmen has supervised a total of 15 postgraduate students to completion. Additionally, she is currently supervising a total of 7 postgraduate students. She has published a total of 41 scientific papers that include articles in peer reviewed journals, book chapter and conference proceedings. She has reviewed a lot of papers in peer reviewed journals (in total; 277). She has received a lot of awards of “Excellence in Reviewing” by Science Domain. Her articles were cited in total 1053. She is serving as an editoral board member of the journals like “International Journal of Agricultural Research and Crop Sciences (IJARCS) and Science Journal of Analytical Chemistry(SJAC)”. She ranks in Webometrics rankings of Turkish scientists for 2015 and 2016. She is also an expert in analytical instruments such as ICP, GS and Atomic Absorption. Her research interests mainly include environmental pollution and health, analytical chemistry, heavy metals, instrumental analysis, toxicology, aquatic environments.
